What is the Daily Challenge?
The daily challenge turns dominoes into a shared ritual: same shuffle, same day, everyone measuring themselves against the identical deal.
One shuffle, everyone
Each day's deal is generated from the date, so the tiles you draw are exactly the tiles every other player draws that day - your hand, the computer's hand and the boneyard, all identical. That makes results directly comparable: you didn't just win, you won this deal that everyone faced. Each game has its own daily deal, so the daily page is really several challenges in one.
The top-20 daily board
Beat the day's deal and your result posts to that game's top-20 daily board. At midnight UTC the deal and the board reset, and yesterday's shuffle is gone for good - miss a day and that puzzle is unrepeatable. That expiry is the gentle hook: one deal, one shot at the board, then come back tomorrow.
Why it's a great habit
A daily deal is a bite-sized, self-limiting goal - one hand of focus, a fair comparison, done. It pairs naturally with multiplayer when you'd rather beat a friend than a board, and with the leaderboard for the long-term record. Many players make it the first coffee-break game of the day.

How does multiplayer dominoes work?
Create a room, share the 6-letter code or link with a friend, and when you both ready up the server deals one identical shuffle to the table. You then play live, turn by turn, with chat alongside and a one-click rematch waiting at the end. No download and no account needed.
What is a good dominoes score?
In All Fives, single plays worth 10 or 15 are the bread and butter and 20 is the maximum, so averaging double digits per hand is strong play. In Fives and Threes the benchmark is the 8-point play on a total of 15. The daily boards show what good looks like on the same deal.
Is Dominoes.now free?
Completely. All 8 games, the daily challenge, the leaderboard and online multiplayer are free to play in your browser, with no download and no signup. An optional free sign-in only adds cross-device stats and a permanent name on the boards.
